The talking pig in the film:

Eighty million pigs are going to be born in Germany every year. We pigs are hidden to the most part of us. We are living in a high technological system as growing collets, ham and sausages. Are we still animals or already only living organics? What kind of criteria do you take responsibility for you and to the fairness of species. Now we are living, as we would not have eyes.

I am dreaming about life as an animal, as a pig and from humans who would admire us if their would consume us. And who will like to know how we live and what we love. I am the Acorn Pig. I am the Acorn Pig. I am the Acorn Pig. I am dreaming and I am a living sculpture, I am in the flesh. My forebears did live with herders and rambling through the landscape.

But this is long ago. Where humans and pigs exist with a common measure. Soon the norm of humans economy abdicate the richness of culture in every corner of the world.

But they are still there, the farmers, who would appreciate and who steer clear about the pricing pressure for cheep meat and the mass production. Who do not feet us with genetically modified soy from oversee and who do admeasure us another worth.

And so I became the Acorn Pig. I symbol the soul and spirit of all pigs and I am a living sculpture. To become a real Acorn Pig the amount of proteins to the fat, coming from the acorns should be minimum 40 %. We have been fed with Acorns every day, but also they had fun of our likes. Yes, these humans became happy with us and each became a name and each did belong to somebody.

I am not a perfect pig in the sense of my purpose, but I represent the Acorn Pig. I was smart and my fellers more greedy pigs, like Bristly and Upper Grumbly.

But even not ten millions of pigs could live like that and therefore this System cook up, that each of you should rethink and I ask you all if really each habitant of Germany must eat one pig each year? In your system already after 4 month we are killable, having the ideal weight in proportion to our age and costs of husbandry.

We ten pigs were lucky to enter this grass. We did live with the Family Poetzsch, who indulge us three times a day. Many people did visit us, those who had been our godparents, journalists and controlling authorities. We have been used, no stress. Main-thing actions and acorns. Some of us stayed longer.

Why do you eat only this animals which you would not see and those to which you had been looking in the eyes you could not slaughter? Would it not be better then to remind and celebrate us together with your closest, and not throwing away the anonymous rotten rests. Earlier peoples feast eating, this is the culture, which makes out human. Earlier the people render homage to the animals.

I am dreaming about a park, a landscape developed by us, in which we could live in harmony. Big enough that our digging does not cause problems but contribute to flora and fauna, where we experience the seasons. Nobody dare the imagination of this. I am living now in the Zoo, dreaming as the Acorn Pig for the future.
